# Finance Overview

> Collect payments on your sites and payment links, with payouts straight to your bank

Sontairo Finance lets your business take payments — through [payment links](/finance/payment-links) you share anywhere, or [checkout on your hosted site](/finance/site-checkout) — with payouts going straight to your bank account.

**Finance is free to use.** There's no add-on to buy and no monthly fee; Sontairo collects a **2% platform fee** on each payment. You are the merchant of record: you keep full control of your earnings and payouts, and Sontairo never holds your money.

## Getting set up

Everything happens on the **Finance** page — there are no external redirects:

1. Open **Finance** and choose **Continue as individual** or **Continue as business**
2. Complete the embedded onboarding form (identity, bank account) right on the page
3. When onboarding finishes, your account shows **Charges enabled** and you can start collecting payments

Payments are processed by Stripe on an account that belongs to your workspace, so standard card processing applies on top of the 2% platform fee.

## The Finance page

Once active, the Finance page shows:

* **Status badges** — Charges enabled, Payouts enabled/pending, business type, and country
* **Recent payments** — every payment with its amount, description, customer email, source (payment link or site), and date; site payments link straight to the site
* **New payment link** — create a reusable link to share (see [Payment links](/finance/payment-links))
* **Payouts & account** — expand to manage payouts and your account details, embedded in the page

## Payouts and account management

Payout schedule, bank details, and account information are all managed in-app from the **Payouts & account** section — no separate dashboard to log into.

## Payments power the rest of Sontairo

* Workspace owners and admins get an in-app **"Payment received"** notification for every payment
* Payments fire the **When a payment is received** trigger in [Helm automations](/helm/automations) — log the sale in your CRM, send a thank-you email, or kick off an AI agent
* Site payments roll up into the site's **Revenue** tile on [Site health](/hosting/ai-monitor)
